Voice and performance

I will be adding some blogs which reflect my personal views about singing. I am a professional singer in that I earn money from singing and don’t have other earned income, however, I am also retired and so I cannot say that I sing to earn a living.   I sing because people tell me I have a good voice and I have been a singer all my life. So I thought it might be useful to others to hear what I discovered about singing and particularly Voice and Performance issues when I started singing for money. There is nothing like being alone on a stage in front of a paying audience to focus the mind on how to get the best performance out of the voice that you have.
